My first day at Diagonal was on the 26th August 2003 and I was very impressed at how friendly and helpful everyone was. 

I've seen amazing changes over the years.  One thing I can guarantee is that every day there will always be something to make me laugh out loud and smile. 
 
Over the last 6 years I have found the culture in Diagonal brings something new and exciting each day.  Just looking back over the last few months I've been constantly working at clients sites and it never ceases to amaze me how varied and interesting the work is.  One minute there is an urgent issue and the client has to have it fixed now.  The next its designing a solution to report on sales promotions or time utilisation.  This is where you need to delve into the darkest corner of the clients business requirements to make sure you have understood what they really want.  It is often different to what they think they want!
 
On the support front, our clients have varying skill levels - sometimes you find that you are the last person they call because they have not been able to resolve a problem and now its down to you to fix.  At other times you are the first point of contact and it requires a simple click of a button.  Either way, its very satisfying knowing that you fixed their issue.
 
Career wise, there are no limits and no pressure.  Its up to each person how far they go.  I've seen support consultants move up through the ranks to become Directors and I've also seen people stay in the same positions for years because they are good at their jobs and its where they want to stay.

There is one thing for sure - I'm very pleased to be able to say that I work for Diagonal and I hope to do so for a long time.
